Boyka Docheva

Boyka Docheva is a seasoned HR professional with over 15 years of experience in people management and development, gained through roles in both in-house and consultancy HR environments. Since 2007, she has been an integral part of the HR team at IBM Bulgaria, where her work has been predominantly focused on people management and organizational growth. Her passion lies in shaping long-term strategies for employee development and building strong, future-ready organizations. Boyka is driven by the goal of implementing mature and sustainable HR practices across all levels, fostering a culture of empowerment and belonging. She is also deeply interested in the automation and digitalization of HR processes, seeing them as essential tools for enhancing efficiency and maintaining the strategic value of HR within modern organizations. Boyka holds a Master's degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from Warwick Business School, University of Warwick, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration from Sofia University 'St. Kliment Ohridski'. She is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD). In her role as Country HR Leader and Client Facing HR Partner at IBM, Boyka has led numerous initiatives aimed at fostering inclusive workplaces and supporting employee well-being. She is passionate about creating environments where individuals can thrive and contribute to organizational success.
