Booking Terms

When making a booking to attend the HR Innovator series as paying attendee/s, you agree and accept the following booking terms.

Upon placing a booking order, completing payment through our payment gateway service provider - Stripe, you accept and agree to our booking terms.
Your registration as a paying attendee can only be confirmed upon successful payment has been received.
If you wish to complete payment via bank transfer this is also possible. All you need to do is write to us using the contact form, express interest and confirm the number of tickets required. We will then send you the delegate enrolment form with payment instructions.
In the event that you can no longer attend, you can nominate a substitute to attend on your behalf. And we need to be informed at least 48-hours prior to the event.
It is important to note that we do not offer refunds to tickets. The organizer bears cost in producing and delivering the event.
In case that you can no longer attend, we can offer to you the following alternatives a/ transfer the ticket to another edition; b/ nominate a substitute to attend.
From time to time, we may take photos or record our events. This is solely for promotional purposes. In case you do not wish to be photographed, please let us know on the event day.
You also agree that from time to time and due to unforeseen circumstances, we may need to make last minute agenda changes, and/or speaker replacements. This is not a standard practice but something that we may need to do due to last minute speaker cancellations due to sickness and others.
You accept and agree that the organizer cannot be held liable for any transport disruptions that may affect your ability to attend. And, no refunds will be issued in such cases.
In the unlikely event that the event is being postponed, your ticket will automatically be transferred to the new dates. If the new dates do not work for you, you can send a substitute delegate or choose another edition, but please note that no refunds will be issued. In the rare event that the organizer must cancel the event, your ticket cost will be refunded. The organiser will not be able to reimburse any additional costs such as travel or accommodation.
After the event has concluded, we will share the information you provided in the registration form with the event sponsors and partners. This is intended to facilitate networking opportunities and enable sponsors to introduce their products or services to your organization. The list of sponsors can be found at our sponsors page.
If you do not wish us to share your information with our sponsors and partners, please let us know via the contact form and we will respect your decision, but please bear in mind we rely on sponsors and partners to produce this event and your help and understanding are much appreciated!.
Our events are accessible to everyone, and we strive to work with venues that are wheelchair accessible. In order to make the necessary arrangements, please contact us via the contact form and let us know so we can make the necessary arrangements.
You agree to inform us of any food allergies that you might have. While we will make every effort to accommodate your request, we cannot ensure that all good items will be free of allergens, and as such, we cannot be held liable in such cases.

Waiver of Liability Relating to Coronavirus/COVID-19

Covid safety information:

Because COVID-19 is highly contagious and is spread mainly through person-to-person contact, the HR Innovator Event Series (owned and operated by Pitchtek UK Ltd.) (www.thehrinnovator.com) cannot guarantee that its speakers,delegates, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, and partners, or others in attendance will not become infected with COVID-19.

Considering the ongoing spread of COVID-19, individuals who fall into any of the categories below should refrain from participating in the HR Innovator Event Series. Therefore, by registering and attending an HRInnovator Event Series event, you confirm that you do not belong to any of the following categories:

1. Individuals who, currently or within the past ten (10) days, have experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19, including fever,cough, and shortness of breath.

2. Individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities or the health care team responsible for their treatment.

3. If you think you might have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or if you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and have not yet received clearance from your healthcare provider or local public health authorities, please take the necessary precautions to avoid spreading the virus to others.

Duty to Self-Monitor:‍

Participants and volunteers agree to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 (symptoms typically include fever, cough, and shortness of breath) and, contact the HR Innovator Event Series via the contact form if they experience symptoms of COVID-19 within 5 days after participating or volunteering.

Medical Acknowledgment:

I acknowledge the health risks associated with my attendance at the HR Innovator Event Series, including but not limited to transient dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, nausea, muscle cramping, musculoskeletal injury, joint pains, sprains and strains, heart attack, stroke, or sudden death.

I agree that if I experience any of these or any other symptoms during the activity, I will discontinue my participation immediately and seek appropriate medical attention.

I do hereby authorize the administration of emergency first aid and/or treatment, if necessary.

Liability Waiver, Release of Claims, and Assumption of the Risk:

I acknowledge that I derive personal satisfaction and a benefit by virtue of my participation and/or voluntarism with the HR Innovator Event Series (www.thehrinnovator.com),and I willingly engage in the HR Innovator Event Series (www.thehrinnovator.com owned and operated by Pitchtek UK Ltd.) and/or other activities (the “Activity”). As a participant, volunteer, or attendee, I recognize that my participation, involvement, and/or attendance at any of the HR Innovator Event Series or the activity is voluntary and may result in personal injury (including death) and/or property damage. By attending, observing, or participating in the activity, I acknowledge and assume all risks and dangers associated with my participation and/or attendance at the activity.

Assumption of the risk by registering to attend, I acknowledge and understand the following:

1. Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases, including but not limited to COVID-19;

2. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, even if arising from the negligence or fault of the Released Parties; and

3. I hereby knowingly assume the risk of injury, harm, and loss associated with the activity, including any injury, harm, or loss caused by negligence, fault, or conduct of any kind on the part of the Released Parties (as defined below).

Release and waiver.

By attending the HR Innovator Event Series (HR InnovatorEvent Series (www.thehrinnovator.comowned and operated by Pitchtek UK Ltd.), I hereby release, waive and forever discharge any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind or nature against a) the HR Innovator Event Series (HR Innovator Event Series (www.thehrinnovator.com owned and operated by Pitchtek UK Ltd.), b) the property or site owner of the activity, and c) all past, present and future affiliates, successors, assigns, employees, volunteers,vendors, partners, directors, and officers, of such entities (subsections a)through c), collectively, the ‘’released parties’’), either in law or inequity, including but not limited to damages or losses caused by the negligence, fault or conduct of any kind on the part of the released parties. This waiver and release include, but are not limited to, death, bodily injury, illness, economic loss or out-of-pocket expenses, or loss or damage to property. I understand and agree that this waiver and release is binding on my heirs, assigners, next of kin, and/or legally appointed or designated representatives and is intended to apply to and include any claim (s) that may hereinafter accrue or arise from my participation in the activity. I agree and intend that this release is to be interpreted to provide a full release of liability to the fullest extent permitted by law, and I waive any claim that I may have. Further, I release and forever discharge the released parties from any claim whatsoever that arises or may hereafter arise on account of any first aid, treatment., or service rendered in connection with my participation in the activity.
